Recording Non-Medication Allergens:
- Click “Add Food/Environmental/Non-Medication Allergen” button
- Search for deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase
- Enter details into mandatory fields
- Click “Save” button
- Click “I confirm that this list is up to date” button
- “deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase” now saved
as an allergen
- Prescribe a medication which is contraindicated in G6PD
deficiency e.g. ciprofloxacin
- Safety Alert pops up
