How to Run the Stock Usage Report by ATC Codes
To run the “Stock
Usage Report by ATC Code”, the Posh
Report Processing Screen is used. This
screen can be accessed by the zoom [REPORT.
1. Enter the zoom [REPORT
2. You can access the fields using the
mouse or by typing the field numbers (see below).
3. Enter ? in Field 1 and a list of all
availabel reports will appear.
4. Select CCU.ATC.DETL (Stock Usage by ATC
Code – Issues & Dispensing) Report
5. Type “4.2” then ENTER. You are now in
field 2.Properties File to use. Enter the number `1’.
6. Type “4.3” then ENTER. You are now in
field 3.User Id. Enter your User Id.
7. Type “4.7” then ENTER. You are now in
field 7.Start Date. Enter the Start Date.
8. Type “4.8” then ENTER. You are now in
field 8.End Date. Enter the End Date.
9. NOTE: Ignore
all other fields if you have entered a value in field 2. Properties File to use.
All these fields are pre-defined in the Properties file.
10. There
is an option to email the report directly to your email. At the Options line,
press the DOWN arrow. Enter your email address in Field 15. NOTE: some
organisations prevent emailing of files from the Merlin server to your email
address. Check if this is the case at your organisation.
11. The
report can be run in ‘Detailed’ (all transactions listed) or ‘Summary’ (total
transaction value for each inventory code) mode. The report has been set up as
summary.
12. Type
<R> at the Option Line to run the report
Exporting Report to a specified Path
1. When the
report has been run, escape out of the
screen and enter the zoom [EXPORT.
2. Field
1: Leave blank (Nothing needs to be entered in this field)
3. Field
2: Enter “CCU.ATC” (must be in capitals)
4. Field
3: Enter the path for the report to be exported to – the directory must
exist as a mapped directory on your computer.
5. Field
4 should populate automatically – i.e. all reports with the name “CCU.ATC” will
be displayed. To choose which report(s) you wish to export, at the option line,
type the reference for the report ie: 4.2 (for line two of Field 4) The ‘N’
next to the report will change to ‘Y’. You can select multiple reports
to export at once. NOTE: You can also use your mouse to click the report you
wish to report.
6. Type
<E> for Export at the Option Line and <Y> when the box opens.
7. The
report will now be exported to the specified folder.
Viewing
the Report
The data is a Tab Delimited Text file. The way to view that data is to open Excel
first then open the file & use the import wizard to import the data – this
preserves the data content otherwise Excel will change eg drug code OCT1 into
1st October 2014 etc.
